“If I hadn't randomly looked up bakeries in Boise, just for fun, my husband and I would never have found this wonderful place up in Garden City, not far from downtown. A bakery AND pizzeria AND, apparently, an Anesso (Italian sandwiches) shop. How lucky can we get??? Bonus: the staff is just as amazing as the food. Dine indoors or just sit out back at the picnic tables with your dog. They'll even bring him/her a bowl of cold water with ice cubes in the summer and love on him/her with pets. We were only able to try a few slices of the pepperoni pizza for the Happy Hour (3-6 p.m.) — better than 90 percent of the pizza we've had from here to Seattle, fyi — but we'll be back for more, like the artisanal pizzas, the baked goods (get here before 2 p.m. for the best selection), and maybe an Anesso or two.”
